You guys know I love a good Lady Biba and it is crazy but they get me and it works for us. The Collar detail on this dress is quite bold and could be overwhelming for someone who likes to keep things simple. I like a good challenge so I put my own spin on styling the dress and made it more work appropriate by wearing a white shirt underneath. I was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out. Would you guys try this? You can get the dress in this color and other colors HERE xoxo Shally...

Something about the organza fabric that I am starting to really dig. I couldn't resist this fabric when I saw it because it reminded me of Dolce & Gabbana's AW16 fairytale collection, sooo dreamyyyyyyy. I've had the fabric for sometime now, I'm one of those people that buy fabric and keep until the inspiration for a great style comes. Fast forward three weeks ago, after various text messages and wats app'ing with my tailor, this dreamy dress came to life. You can get the fabric I used for my dress HERE. Shoes are Prada (always loved these shoes and found them on sale on...

Hey guys, Thank God it's Friday (aka the best day of the week). I hope you are all as excited as I am for the weekend. I love discovering fabulous Nigerian brands. Feels like I've found a gem whenever I do. Scored this dress from House of Caacuun at a fashion fair last Christmas. I love the colour, the fringe and patchwork. Sounds like a lot, but it comes together beautifully. It's great for #WeddingSaturdays, and even work if your company allows you to be expressive with your outfits. The shoes are a great dupe for Christian Louboutin's Pigalle and way more affordable. Best of all,...

Something about a classic (you guys know I'm all about that "classic" life) white and black look that never gets old. I love the details on this white shirt, so pretty and feminine. This outfit is the perfect #workchic look and is great for formal events too. Get the look - Finery Shirt HERE, old H&M Skirt similar HERE, old Nicholas Kirkwood Shoes, less expensive alternative HERE or HERE & Les Petit Joueurs Bag. Its my birthday tomorrow and I have found myself really reflecting, I am so thankful to God for another year. Have an awesome week guys, and kick butt. XOXO Shally...

Hi guysss, is anyone loving the ongoing ruffle trend? Everywhere I turn I see ruffles and I am loving it, ruffle details always look so prettayyyyy. Anyways in this post I am wearing a white tee shirt with ruffle details along with a midi skirt made from a vintage As0-Oke fabric. For those who don't know, Aso-Oke is a fabric worn by the Yoruba people of Western Nigeria and is regarded as a top notch fabric. I particularly love the richness of the fabric and have experimented with it in the past, see my post HERE. Recently, my aunty gave me...

Incase you haven't noticed, its raining ruffles. Everywhere I turn I see different variations of layers, frills and ruffles. I am a sucker for details so of-course I love this trend and find myself drawn to it. I thought it would be great to do a post suggesting where our readers in Nigeria could shop the look. For our readers outside Nigeria, fear not! A good number of them offer international shipping and that's the most awesome thing about our little global village. Shop - Top Left HERE, Top Middle HERE, Top Right HERE, Bottom Left HERE, Bottom Middle HERE, and Bottom Right...

Hi guys, *waves*  hope you are all having a great weekend. If you are like me and like to show some skin without baring it all, sheer is the way to go! It's a great way to play peekaboo without looking trashy. Go sheer with lace, mesh, chiffon or organza like this blouse. I paired it with this flared trousers I bought a while ago. I had forgotten them in my wardrobe because I had packed on some kgs and the fit was horrible. Thankfully, I am on a semi-vegetarian diet (because Meat=LIFE and how will I survive this life without Suya) where I...

Yayyy guys, we made it to the end of the week, praise God. This look had me feeling cool, infact the second picture looks like I was about to give it all up for a trap song, LOL. I didn't realise until much later that I was rocking Zara from head to toe from different seasons. What can I say? I love me some Zara. Have a fab weekend guys. xoxo Shally...

H&M Dress, FF Fine Jewellery Earrings & Casadei Shoes I love pleats, and the plisse fabric (which has been in high rotation over the past year) is a very pretty twist to classic pleats made popular by Issey Miyake. Since I'm unable to buy an Issey Miyake garment at this time, I was so glad to see this multicoloured (can't get away from the colours) plisse dress in H&M (thank God for high street brands). This look was also shot in Bo-Kaap even though I feel like it was shot at an abandoned building somewhere in Cuba....
