Hey guys, today I am wearing my favorite dress from one of my favorite Nigerian fashion brands Grey. It has features I love in a dress, first it is a dress (lol, I love my dresses), it is in pretty pastel colors and has a bomb structured and exaggerated sleeve, love it. I have styled it with nude pumps and a pair of nude pumps to compliment the dress' pastel hues and I quite like how its turned out. Grey is doing a sale all weekend and it ends today so definitely check them out if you are in Lagos....

Hey Guys, It's the end of another week and of course I have a new Work Chic post for you. I don't know about you but my work wardrobe colour spectrum is mostly white, black, grey and the random pop of colour here and there. This dress reminds me of My Girl (by the Temptations), it definitely brings sunshine to my work wardrobe. I love the black mesh/aso-oke (not sure what fabric it is) detail on the shoulders and waist. Dress - Adey Soile Enjoy the rest of the week. xx Segi...

A friend of mine recently drew my attention to the fact that I wear a lot of polka dot prints, I didn't even realise it. I guess I am naturally drawn to this chic print and more recently its become so much more cooler (Hello Jacquemus). This dress is one of the pieces from a new collection of designs by me. I really appreciate a structured piece and was inspired by the Jacquemus polka dot blouses when I made this dress. To make it mine, I attached black wool pom poms to the sleeves for that little extra spice. In...

Happy new month guys! (You know I come from a place where we wish each other a happy new day, week, month etc). I can't believe it's August already. Didn't this year just start like last month? I love how the Lagos scene is evolving. It's no longer just about going to the cinema, restaurants/bars and clubs. These days you can catch a play almost every week, go kayaking, surfing, go to an exhibition or food/fashion fair, etc. If you are like me though, you probably still only do at least one of the first three things I mentioned. The...

See what I did with the title guys, seriously I'm so pumped when it comes to anything that has pom poms and ruffles on it, like I think it is truly turning out to be part of my style. I recently got a pom pom maker (I know right, who does that) and it may be safe to say that pom poms will be a staple for a lot of the things I will be creating. Anyway, I'm wearing this fabulous dress from Style Nanda, I recently discovered this Japanese brand on ASOS and I love it. I really love...

Hi guys, you know we love to point you to the right direction, so today we are spilling on where to shop one of summer 2017's most coveted items "Maxi Kimonos" in Nigeria (and worldwide tbh). We particularly love the versatility of a Kimono, it can be worn as a dress or just thrown over a pair of skinny jeans and tee shirt (gotta love a multitasking piece). We have rounded up our best finds and shared the links below. Now dreaming about relaxing on the beach in one (maybe two)of these. Enjoy shopping guys! J-Label Kimono HERE Lady Biba Kimono HERE Funke...

Top (old) & Skirt - Zara, similar skirtย HERE I live for a good print and gingham is one of my faves, it is so playful yet chic. It has just the right amount of whim and is so fun to play around with. In this post I'm wearing an embroidered gingham print top and a gingham print skirt from Zara. I plan to have a lot more fun with the skirt this summer, perhaps a tee shirt and a straw hat? Hello Summer. XOXO Shally...

I'm all up for gorgeous work wear. If I had my way and my office dress code policy allowed (let's not forget funds too), I would literally be the Nigerian version of Jessica Pearson (I wish, I know) or maybe Donna (her wardrobe is bomb too). If you don't know who these people are, sorry I can't help you. I mean it follows that since we spend so much time at work, we look good while we are at it. And if your job allows you the freedom to dress as you please, even better. Love love this dress and the half...

I want to LIVE really LIVE and I never really had a deep understanding of this until recent times. Now that I...
